Navarre End User License Agreement and Terms of Use
By installing or using Navarre (the "Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. What Navarre is
Navarre is a client application that connects to your own Jellyfin media server and lets you watch your library on your devices - on your local network for free, and from anywhere after a one-time purchase. Navarre does not host, provide, or supply any media content. You are solely responsible for the media on your server and for your right to access and stream it.
2. License grant
Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
- Free tier: using Navarre on your local network is free.
- One-time unlock: watching from outside your local network requires a one-time purchase ($19.99). The unlock is tied to your account and enables remote-access features across your devices. The Software is licensed, not sold.
3. Open-source components
Navarre includes third-party open-source software, each under its own license. Those licenses are reproduced in the app's "Open-source licenses" screen and accompanying notices. To the extent any included open-source license grants you rights that conflict with these terms, that open-source license governs that component and its rights prevail. In particular, some components are licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL); nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the LGPL, including the right to reverse engineer and debug modifications for your own use of that component.
4. Restrictions
Except as permitted by applicable law or by the license of an included open-source component (Section 3), you may not:
- resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the Software;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the proprietary parts of the Software;
- use the Software to infringe any third party's rights or to violate any law.
5. Your server and content
You represent that you have the right to store, access, and stream the media on your Jellyfin server. Navarre is a conduit to your own server and does not review, control, or take responsibility for your content. You are responsible for configuring your server, your network, and your access controls.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity under it. We use passwordless email sign-in; keep your email account secure.
7. Purchases and refunds
Purchases are governed by our Refund Policy and, for store purchases, by the applicable app store's terms. See the Refund Policy for details, including how remote access is handled after a refund.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that remote access will always be available (it depends on your server, your network, and third-party services).
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NAVARRE ENTERPRISES LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR IT IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may stop using the Software at any time and delete your account (in the app or at navarre.tv/delete).
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Arizona, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; we will post the revised effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
